GELEX Group sponsors Hanoi Children's Hospital with a medical equipment package worth 130 billion

Modern medical equipment is available at Hanoi Children's Hospital.

Hanoi Children's Hospital, which commenced operations on October 9th, is expected to be a modern medical facility serving the healthcare needs of residents in Hanoi and surrounding provinces.

To support Hanoi Children's Hospital in acquiring more modern equipment for examination and treatment, GELEX Group has sponsored and donated many medical devices to Hanoi Children's Hospital.

This includes specialized equipment and machinery that support improved diagnostic and treatment efficiency, such as imaging and functional testing equipment, surgical equipment, intensive care equipment, and laboratory equipment; digital mobile X-ray machines; computed tomography systems; automatic coagulation analyzers; automatic biochemical analyzers; ultrasound machines, etc.

The procurement and installation were completed just in time for the hospital's inauguration ceremony, marking the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi on October 10th. This realized the cooperation agreement between the parties from last June, with a total committed funding value of up to 130 billion VND.

Hanoi Children's Hospital is the capital's first specialized pediatric general hospital, with 24 departments/wards, including 8 functional departments and 16 specialized departments (clinical and paraclinical departments).

The hospital has completed all construction items and put its departments and wards into operation. The operating room area has 11 rooms equipped with modern, high-quality medical equipment.

The hospital boasts a team of highly qualified doctors and medical staff who are proficient in anesthesia techniques, multimodal pain management, gastrointestinal surgery, kidney and urinary tract surgery, orthopedic surgery, and surgeries related to ear, nose and throat, and maxillofacial surgery.

When it becomes operational, Hanoi Children's Hospital is expected to provide outpatient care to nearly 1,000 patients and inpatient treatment to 200 children daily.

The modern medical equipment that GELEX has donated to Hanoi Children's Hospital will help the medical staff diagnose and treat diseases more effectively, thereby improving the quality of care for pediatric patients and contributing to reducing the burden on higher-level hospitals and neighboring provinces.
