On December 12th, Ba Ria General Hospital and Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on supporting the sharing of KPI evaluation tools.

According to the agreement, the City Children's Hospital will support the Ba Ria General Hospital in training on KPI tools for hospital management and operation, and on how to set goals for the hospital, departments, and staff.

Simultaneously, the unit provides consulting on the development of quarterly/annual planning goals and the selection of appropriate indicators based on the actual situation at the hospital. In addition, it advises on the planning and implementation of KPIs across 5 specific departments/wards; provides consulting on monitoring, evaluating, and supervising KPI implementation; and summarizes, improves, and advises on the planning for the following year.

Following the signing ceremony, the City Children's Hospital organized training sessions on two topics: "KPIs in autonomous public hospitals balancing professional development, core effectiveness, and social responsibility"; and "Comprehensive KPIs for departments and wards, and behavioral KPIs for staff."

Dr. Duong Thanh, Director of Ba Ria General Hospital, said that the signing and implementation of KPIs is a step towards improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the hospital after the merger, with the desire for comprehensive development. KPIs help manage according to modern trends, objectively and realistically evaluating work efficiency. At the same time, it is also a tool for the Board of Directors to guide the hospital's development strategy, helping staff understand the strategic vision, mission, and tasks for the future, as well as the specific tasks of each department, unit, and individual, creating motivation for striving and development.

*On the same day, Ba Ria General Hospital also signed a cooperation agreement with the Ho Chi Minh City Forensic Center. The two units will cooperate in the use of equipment, facilities, and human resources to serve forensic examination and medical treatment activities. Ba Ria General Hospital is the largest and most professionally competent medical facility in the Ba Ria - Vung Tau region, with 12,886 approved medical procedures. The hospital currently has 900 beds, 35 departments, and a total of 1,076 staff members.
