On the morning of December 11th, at the 115 Emergency Center, Vingroup Corporation held a handover ceremony for ambulances and medical equipment to the Hai Phong City Department of Health.
Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, City Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee, emphasized that receiving these vehicles and equipment is of significant importance in the context of expanding administrative boundaries, requiring the pre-hospital emergency medical system to be strengthened in a synchronized, comprehensive manner and suitable for diverse terrains. Pre-hospital emergency medical services are identified as the "front line of the front line," requiring rapid response times and flexible coordination capabilities.

The acquisition of modern medical equipment and facilities donated by Vingroup Corporation helps the city gradually implement the important goals of the Ministry of Health 's pilot project on pre-hospital emergency care, which include shortening patient access time; improving the quality of on-site treatment; modernizing emergency equipment and facilities; standardizing the capacity of medical staff; and gradually building a smart, interdisciplinary, and comprehensively connected pre-hospital emergency care model.

The People's Committee of Hai Phong City has assigned the Department of Health to guide agencies and units in receiving, managing, operating, and using donated equipment and facilities effectively, ensuring compliance with regulations. The Department of Health is responsible for continuing to advise on improving inter-sectoral coordination mechanisms, increasing budget investment, developing a smart emergency coordination hotline, and expanding the network of satellite emergency points in densely populated areas, industrial zones, and areas with limited emergency facilities. It is also tasked with promoting the training of first aid personnel in the community, ensuring alignment with the Ministry of Health's guidelines.

The People's Committee of Hai Phong City has determined that a professional pre-hospital emergency medical system not only protects the lives of citizens but is also one of the foundations for the port city to develop into a high-quality medical service center in the region, a safe destination for tourists, investors, and the international community.
At the ceremony, representatives of Vingroup Corporation handed over 15 modern ambulances (including 13 standard ambulances and 2 premium ambulances) and some equipment meeting EN 1789:2020 standards, as recommended by the WHO and the American Heart Association, while also complying with QCVN 31:2012/BYT. Each ambulance is considered a "mobile emergency room," equipped with a specialized ventilator, a defibrillator with integrated monitor, FAST exam ultrasound, a 12-lead electrocardiogram with remote connection, an intubation kit with camera, trauma splints, and many other emergency tools.

These ambulances are distributed at satellite locations of the Hai Phong 115 Emergency Center, ensuring operational readiness throughout the city.
These ambulances and equipment were donated by Vingroup Corporation, with a total value of over 26 billion VND.
