Ninh Thuan General Hospital: Timely saving of acute myocardial infarction patient

Ninh Thuan General Hospital has just saved the life of a patient suffering from cardiogenic shock and acute myocardial infarction due to coronary artery occlusion. Accordingly, patient TNT (residing in Phan Ri Cua commune, Lam Dong province) entered Ninh Thuan General Hospital in a state of severe chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, and nausea. Notably, the patient's chest had many small incisions due to punctures. After being examined and undergoing specialized tests, the patient was diagnosed with cardiogenic shock and acute myocardial infarction due to coronary artery occlusion. Doctors quickly transferred the patient to the Interventional Cardiology Department to place a stent to re-open the coronary artery. Thanks to timely treatment, the patient's health is now stable. Patient T. said that he often had chest pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue, but he subjectively did not go to the doctor and only had punctures at home. After the punctures, the symptoms were temporarily reduced, so the patient thought he was cured. However, the chest pain recurred many times and lasted for a long time, making patient T. tired, so he went to the hospital for treatment.

Patient T.'s health has stabilized after the intervention.

Fortunately, in this case, we were able to promptly recanalize the coronary artery, helping the patient overcome the critical condition."
