An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital meets the standards of the European Society of Heart Disease for heart failure management.

Dr. Bui Huu Minh Tri, Director of An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital; MSc. Dr. Mai Pham Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital, along with other participating doctors.

Professor Dr. Dang Van Phuoc, on behalf of the European Heart Failure Association, presented the certificate and quality certification for the Heart Failure Management Specialist Center to An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital.

At the ceremony, Professor Dr. Dang Van Phuoc, on behalf of the European Heart Failure Association, presented the Certificate and plaque of "Quality of Specialized Center for Heart Failure Management" from the European Heart Failure Association to An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital - recognizing its achievement of stringent international standards and its heart failure treatment and management system meeting European standards. With this achievement, An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital is one of eight medical facilities in Vietnam and the first hospital in the Mekong Delta to achieve the European Heart Association's standards for heart failure management.

“Achieving this certification is the result of a sustainable quality improvement process, investment in expertise, technology, and a healthcare management system with a holistic approach to patient care. With this achievement, the hospital will continue to strive to ensure that heart failure patients benefit even more from management programs,” shared Dr. Bui Huu Minh Tri, Director of An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital.

Professor Dr. Dang Van Phuoc, Vice President of the Vietnam Cardiology Association, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Dang Van Phuoc congratulated and highly appreciated An Giang Heart Hospital for its key role in cardiovascular treatment in the Mekong Delta, developing an effective heart failure management program, marking an important step forward in heart failure treatment and international integration.

Professor Dr. Dang Van Phuoc and Doctor of Medicine Nguyen Hoang Minh Phuong chaired and moderated the workshop.

Dr. Bui Huu Minh Tri, Director of An Giang Cardiovascular Hospital, presented his report at the conference.

Within the framework of the workshop, delegates heard a presentation from the Vice President of the Vietnam Cardiology Association and Director of An Giang Cardiology Hospital on new advances in the treatment of heart failure; updates on heart failure treatment, the role of the Four Pillars of Heart Disease drugs; and the role of beta-blockers in the treatment of heart failure and chronic coronary syndrome.
