On July 27th, over 500 students in Ho Chi Minh City attended a skills workshop on "Applying AI in Learning and Working" held at the Youth Cultural Center (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
Over 500 students participated in learning about the benefits that AI can bring.
This program, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center in collaboration with MSI and Nvidia, aims to help students access and utilize AI applications in their studies, work, and entertainment, as well as guide their future career paths.
During the program, experts in the field of AI exchanged and shared with students about the powerful impacts of AI, especially in the field of education .
Mr. Pham Anh Duong, Marketing Director of Nvidia Vietnam, believes that students need to equip themselves with useful skills and solutions to make AI their companion, but absolutely not become dependent on these tools.
The program not only attracted information technology students, but also students from other fields such as education, tourism , psychology, etc., who were also enthusiastic about participating.

According to experts, students using AI tools should aim to use them to support their learning, not to completely replace the learning process.
Students must proactively seek out and explore , not passively wait for AI to provide answers. Instead, they should ask questions, search for information, verify the information provided by AI using multiple sources, develop critical thinking skills, and use AI as a tool to support the thinking process, not to replace it.
During the program, students focused their discussions on career fields such as photography, film, hospitality, software programming, journalism, and more.
Young student Dang Hoi attentively listened to the expert's presentation.
Hong Mai, a student at the University of Finance - Marketing in Ho Chi Minh City, said she uses many AI tools to support her studies. AI provides comprehensive information and saves Mai a lot of time.
"Technology is developing very rapidly, and if we don't keep up, we'll quickly become outdated. Participating in the program is also a way for me to learn new 'tips and tricks' to use AI better," Mai said.
Describing himself as a technology and computer enthusiast, Dang Hoi said he spends about 30 minutes each day learning about this field. Although he is only a 7th-grade student, when his father shared information about the program, Hoi enthusiastically registered to participate.
"I understood about 70% of the information shared at the program. There were some terms I heard for the first time. After today, I will research and experiment with more new AI tools," Hội said.
