On June 2nd, the Phu Tho Provincial Police announced that on the morning of the same day, during the 2026-2027 high school entrance exam at the Sao Bay High School examination center, the Hop Kim Commune Police promptly assisted a candidate who had been bitten by a centipede, taking him to the hospital for emergency treatment to ensure his health and safety.

According to initial information, BTPL (born in 2011, residing in Dung Tien commune, Phu Tho province) was unfortunately bitten by a centipede before the exam. Despite the health impact, she still tried to participate because it was an important exam.
During the exam, student L's health deteriorated, experiencing pain and fatigue, forcing her to stop. Upon discovering the situation, medical staff at the examination site promptly provided first aid, monitored her health, and administered intravenous fluids in the examination board's medical room.
Prioritizing the health and safety of the candidate, the Hop Kim Commune Police quickly coordinated with the examination board and the family to assist in taking the student to the Kim Boi Regional Medical Center for further examination and treatment.
