Bidiphar launches large-scale digital transformation project.

Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with Citek, is implementing a large-scale digital transformation project to upgrade its management system and standardize operations according to international pharmaceutical industry standards.

On May 11th, in Quy Nhon Nam ward (Gia Lai province), Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bidiphar), in collaboration with Citek, launched a large-scale digital transformation project in the pharmaceutical industry with a series of key items such as upgrading the SAP ERP management system to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.

The two entities signed an agreement to implement solutions that meet the European Union (EU) pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, apply international financial reporting standards, utilize QR codes, and build a data platform for analysis and management.

According to Bidiphar, the project is a strategic step to enhance management capacity and standardize operations according to international standards in the pharmaceutical industry. Instead of improving each system individually, the company chose to implement multiple solutions simultaneously to increase operational efficiency, data transparency, and meet international compliance requirements.

Bidiphar is one of the pioneering pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam to implement SAP ERP since 2014. After more than 10 years of operation, the company continues to invest in upgrading to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud - the next-generation management solution from SAP Group (Germany).

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huong, General Director of Bidiphar, said that the company chose digital transformation to standardize processes, optimize operations, and be ready to meet the stringent requirements of the global market.
