Border guards in Nghe An province help local people harvest ripe rice.

During this time, the rice fields of ethnic minority communities in the border areas of Nghe An province are beginning to ripen. Taking advantage of favorable weather, dozens of task forces from units under the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command have come to help policy beneficiary families, families in difficult circumstances, single-parent families, and families with soldiers serving far from home harvest their ripe rice.

Border guards, armed with sickles and scythes, swiftly harvest, bundle, and transport rice to the storage facilities of local families.

The activities of the Border Guard officers and soldiers have helped the people ensure that the planting schedule is followed correctly, and that the harvest is quick and efficient; achieving the highest productivity, quality, and efficiency; while also further strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people in the border region.

 

Dozens of task forces from border guard posts are assisting disadvantaged families, those with difficult circumstances, and those living alone in the area, in harvesting ripe rice.
