Ministry of Education and Training warns about impersonation and fraud in civil servant recruitment

On June 12, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a warning about fraudulent and impersonating recruitment methods for civil servants in 2024.

Accordingly, in recent days, information pages, Zalo groups, and emails have appeared impersonating units of the Ministry of Education and Training to provide information, posting many images and articles containing methods and tricks for fraudulent appropriation of property.

At the same time, these pages and groups incorporate advertisements for services such as "receiving applications for principals/vice principals, treasurers"; "contributing to welfare funds for children in mountainous areas"... with commitments to work at units under the Ministry of Education and Training for the purpose of appropriating assets.

The Ministry of Education and Training confirmed that it currently only provides official information online through two channels: the Ministry of Education and Training's Electronic Information Portal (https://moet.gov.vn/Pages/home.aspx) and the Ministry of Education and Training's electronic information page on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/thongtinbogiaoducvadaotao/).

The Ministry of Education and Training recommends that people be cautious when using unofficial information sources that impersonate the Ministry of Education and Training. The Ministry recommends that people absolutely do not listen to or contact websites, fanpages, or social media accounts that advertise services such as "receiving applications for principals/vice principals and treasurers"; "contributing to welfare funds for children in mountainous areas"... on the internet; and do not transfer money to the above subjects for guidance, receiving, or completing applications.

Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training and related units do not coordinate or authorize any unit to guide or receive people's records on cases of "receiving records of principals/vice principals, treasurers"; "contributing to welfare funds for children in mountainous areas"... through social networks.
