The teacher who "ignites" vocational education.

In the arduous yet noble journey of "nurturing future generations," there are teachers who quietly dedicate themselves, pouring their hearts and souls into guiding students on their educational and career paths. Teacher Le Huu Hai, Director of the Trieu Son Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center, is one such example.

With over 22 years of dedication and work in the education sector, including 11 years directly teaching Mathematics and 11 years in management at the Trieu Son Vocational Training and Continuing Education Center, Mr. Hai has always believed that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about opening up future career opportunities for students. Therefore, under his leadership, the center has continuously innovated teaching methods and improved the quality of cultural education combined with vocational training, creating conditions for students to both study academics and acquire vocational skills after graduation.

Regarding student enrollment, the center has consistently led the province in enrollment for 10th grade and has the largest number of students in the province over the years. Simultaneously, it leads the province in implementing a model of parallel education combining general education with vocational training. Special attention is paid to collaborative training with vocational schools inside and outside the province, contributing to the diversification of activities within the center. The number of students and classes has increased year by year. The number of students winning provincial-level awards has increased significantly; the graduation rate and the percentage of students admitted to universities and colleges are steadily increasing; and the quality of students participating in vocational training and graduating is continuously improving.

Not only is Mr. Hai a responsible manager, but he is also loved by his colleagues and students for his approachable style. He always closely encourages the teaching staff to innovate teaching methods, educate life skills, provide career guidance, and inspire students' ambition to excel. In particular, he always emphasizes the principle of "learning goes hand in hand with practice," linking training to the practical needs of the labor market. In the context of many changes in vocational education, he consistently maintains his view of sustainable educational development, placing the learner at the center. Therefore, the number of students studying both general education and vocational skills at the center is increasing, and the quality of students participating in vocational training and graduating is constantly improving. From 2021 to the present, in the provincial-level student excellence competitions, the Trieu Son Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center has consistently ranked first or second in the province among continuing education units. In particular, in the 2025-2026 school year, the center had 21 students participating in the provincial-level excellent student competition and won 19 awards, including 3 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 4 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes, ranking first in the entire province.

With the achievements it has made, the Trieu Son Vocational Training and Continuing Education Center has been awarded a commendation by the Prime Minister; for many consecutive years, it has received emulation flags and commendations from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with numerous certificates of merit from various levels and sectors. Teacher Le Huu Hai himself received a commendation from the Minister of Education and Training and was selected as "Outstanding Teacher of the Year 2024"...
