Provincial People's Council representatives meet with voters in Quang Ninh commune.

On the afternoon of June 3rd, the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council delegation, including delegates Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Standing Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department; Hoang Anh Tuan, Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council; and Nguyen Thi Son, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh commune, held a meeting with voters in Quang Ninh commune before the mid-year regular session of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, in 2026.

At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial People's Council delegation announced the expected content and program of the mid-year regular session of the 19th Provincial People's Council in 2026; presented a summary report on the socio -economic situation of Thanh Hoa province in the first five months of 2026 and key tasks for the remaining months of the year; and reported on the results of addressing opinions and recommendations from voters of the former Quang Xuong district in general and Quang Ninh commune in particular, submitted to the 37th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Provincial People's Council representative Nguyen Thi Son, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh commune, presented a summary report on the province's socio-economic situation in the first five months of the year and key tasks for the remaining months of 2026.

In a democratic and open atmosphere, voters in Quang Ninh commune raised a number of difficulties and obstacles, requesting that the competent authorities consider and resolve them.

According to voters, after the restructuring and streamlining of the administrative apparatus, commune-level officials are undertaking a large workload and holding multiple positions; however, the allowances are not commensurate with the time and effort they put in. The newly restructured villages have large geographical areas and dense populations, requiring more demanding work. If one person holds multiple positions, it will affect work efficiency.

Voters also reflected that the coastal road passing through Quang Ninh commune currently lacks investment in lighting systems, traffic signs, reflective paint, and traffic lights at intersections with local roads, posing a potential risk to traffic safety; the health stations in the commune are currently dilapidated, lacking equipment and human resources, causing difficulties in providing healthcare for the people...

Provincial People's Council delegate Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Standing Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, received and addressed issues of concern to voters.

Responding to the opinions and suggestions of the voters, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegation, delegate Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Standing Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, stated that these were all heartfelt and responsible opinions, reflecting a spirit of contributing to the overall development of the locality and the province.

The comrade has explained and clarified some issues of concern to the voters. For issues falling under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee and provincial departments, the delegation will propose immediate solutions. For issues falling under the authority of the Provincial People's Council, they will be compiled and reported to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution at the next session.

Regarding issues falling under the jurisdiction of the People's Council and the People's Committee of the commune, the comrade requested that the commune pay attention to and promptly resolve them, meeting the legitimate aspirations of the voters.
