The People's Committee of My Thuan Commune and VNPT Hon Dat collaborate on digital transformation.

On the afternoon of June 3rd, the People's Committee of My Thuan commune (An Giang province) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with VNPT Hon Dat on digital transformation for the period 2026 - 2030.

Representatives from the People's Committee of My Thuan commune and VNPT Hon Dat signed a cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement, the two parties will coordinate the implementation of programs and solutions to build a digital government, digital economy , and digital society in My Thuan commune. The cooperation will focus on developing digital infrastructure, digital data, digital platforms, ensuring information security, and training information technology human resources to serve digital transformation.

During the period 2026-2030, VNPT Hon Dat prioritizes the deployment of advanced technology solutions such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain; supporting the development of applications for population data, identification, and electronic authentication according to Project 06, contributing to improving the efficiency of management and administration of local authorities.

The two sides also collaborated on building specialized databases, a shared data warehouse system, and gradually establishing a Smart Operations Center to serve management, monitoring, analysis, and decision-making support in fields such as healthcare, education, agriculture , environment, population, and public administration.
