Supplementing regulations on responsibility for flight delays and cancellations

(QNgTV) - The Ministry of Justice has just held a meeting to review the draft Law on Vietnam Civil Aviation (replacement). The draft law is chaired by the Ministry of Construction. Regarding specific contents, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh requested the drafting agency to fully absorb the opinions of the review council.

Accordingly, the Deputy Minister of Justice emphasized that the draft has provisions on "aviation industry" which is new content, so the drafting agency needs to study and stipulate more clearly and deeply about this content. At the same time, research and supplement regulations on the production of aircraft, aircraft engines, aircraft propellers and aircraft equipment; supplement the content of airport planning to ensure it is suitable for the country's development; review and ensure consistency and synchronization in the use of specialized terms...

In addition, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh requested the drafting agency to study and propose regulations on responsibilities in flight delays and cancellations, and to resolve policies for people to gradually improve the quality of service to the people.
