Exhibition of cultural industries: Connecting creativity, spreading Vietnamese values

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Official Dispatch No. 3255/BVHTTDL – BQTG to the following departments: Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition; Copyright; Performing Arts; Cinema; Vietnam National Tourism; Grassroots Culture, Libraries and Families; Radio, Television and Electronic Information; Publishing, Printing and Distribution on the implementation of the task of organizing exhibitions in 12 cultural industries.

An exhibition of 12 cultural industries with the theme "Creativity for Construction" (expected) will be held at the Socio -Economic Achievements Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day taking place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 in Hanoi.

The development of cultural industry is a strong trend, an important driving force for the socio-economic development of many countries in the world . In Vietnam, in recent times, with the attention of the Party, the State and the participation of all levels, sectors and localities, cultural industries have made many new steps forward, gradually becoming important service economic sectors, contributing positively to the sustainable development of the country, preserving and promoting national cultural values, creating jobs and enhancing the value of the national brand.

Therefore, organizing the introduction of achievements and development trends of 12 cultural industries at the Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day helps management agencies, business community, organizations, creative individuals and the public to better understand the importance of cultural industry development in socio-economic development and the current integration context.

In addition, the organization of the exhibition of 12 cultural industries also aims to affirm that the cultural industry is an important resource to promote the socio-economic development of the country, actively contributing to GRDP growth and exploiting and optimizing intellectual property, solving employment through the production of more and more diverse and high-quality cultural industrial products and services. Agencies, organizations, businesses, creators, artists, etc. have the opportunity to introduce, exchange, connect, cooperate, promote, develop brands, markets, strengthen connections, and create development momentum for the domestic and international communities.

At the same time, promote and honor cultural values, enhance the image, position and brand of Vietnam associated with typical and outstanding products. Honor the efforts of the creative community, businesses, individuals and the role of the public in promoting the unique and outstanding values ​​of Vietnamese culture. The exhibition is designed as a continuous cultural flow, from traditional roots to modern creativity, connecting cultural industries into a vibrant ecosystem, with linkages between cultural industries. The main colors are inspired by the Vietnamese cultural palette with unique highlights of landscapes, works, films, art, architecture... combined with smart lighting to create a multi-dimensional, attractive spatial effect. The priority materials used are sustainable, environmentally friendly, and reusable.

For the welcome gate and lobby, this is the starting area for the journey to explore and experience the creative space of cultural industries associated with the theme of creativity in cultural industries must go hand in hand with copyright protection. The space will demonstrate the development process of 12 cultural industry fields contributing to the development of the country through the common content and achievements displayed on the central LED screen on cultural industry development data, typical cultural industry units for each field and highlight the role of the Party and State's policies through the promulgation of the Vietnam Cultural Industry Development Strategy 2020, orientation to 2030 and the New Cultural Industry Development Strategy to 2030, vision to 2045.

The exhibition space will include display areas of industries such as: Cinema, Performing Arts, Software and Entertainment Games, Television and Radio, Design, Advertising, etc.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests units to urgently implement the tasks of organizing exhibitions of 12 cultural industries with the theme "Creative Space for Construction" according to the assigned content.

The report on the progress of the implementation of the tasks and the content of the exhibition implementation must be sent to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (through the Copyright Office, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions) before July 12, 2025, to synthesize and develop the content and overall plan for the exhibition "Creative Space for Construction"./.
