RT reported on September 14 that the incident occurred on a flight from Moscow (Russia) to Hanoi on September 11, about 3 hours after takeoff.
At that time, a male passenger in his 50s had hypertension - a sudden and severe increase in blood pressure that can lead to a heart attack or other life-threatening complications, forcing the crew to call for emergency medical assistance on board.

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, who was on the flight to visit and work in Vietnam, directly examined and used medicine available on the plane to help passengers stabilize their health.
Thanks to timely medical intervention, the passenger's health condition was stable and he completed the flight to Hanoi safely.
Mr. Murashko, 58, graduated from Sverdlovsk Medical University. Since 2013, he has headed the federal health surveillance agency, and was appointed Minister of Health of the Russian Federation in January 2020.
