Working with 19 households on Vo Chi Cong Road Project

On the morning of October 9, the Danang City Land Fund Development Center - Branch 9 coordinated with the People's Committee of Thang Dien commune to work with 19 households on publicizing the compensation, support and resettlement plan for land, trees - crops and houses - architectural works of the road project connecting Vo Chi Cong street to Dong Que Son industrial park connecting with National Highway 14H and National Highway 1A through the commune before submitting it to the competent authority for approval.

At the meeting, the households requested to publicize and determine the boundaries of the project's affected area; low compensation for trees; and design drainage ditches to avoid flooding that affects daily life and production. In addition, the people requested that the project be constructed close to their houses, all land should be reclaimed, and the implementation of construction would affect their houses...

The units have responded that if any household wishes to reclaim all affected land, they can submit a petition to the commune government for consideration, submit it to the competent authority for approval, and arrange resettlement according to regulations. Regarding the impact on housing during construction, the unit will coordinate with insurance companies to establish the current status of housing to compare during construction and have a reasonable solution.

The road project connecting Vo Chi Cong Street to Dong Que Son Industrial Park connecting with National Highway 14H and National Highway 1A through Thang Dien Commune has 322 plots of land affected. The total number of plots with approved plans is 275 plots, the remaining 47 plots have not been approved (the plan announced this time has 23 agricultural plots).
