Raising cyber security awareness for students in Da Nang

DNO - On the afternoon of October 10, more than 250 students in Da Nang city participated in the conference "Training to disseminate knowledge and skills to prevent fraud in cyberspace in the context of international integration".

The conference was organized by the Da Nang City Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (City Police) and the University of Education (Da Nang University).

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Phuong, Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Youth Affairs Department of the Da Nang City Youth Union, emphasized: “In the era when technology is the key to the future, every young person needs to equip themselves with the right knowledge, skills and attitudes when participating in the online environment. Each member and student should become an active propagandist, spreading the message of “Safety - Civilization - Responsibility in cyberspace” to their families and the community.”

Captain Nguyen Tien Thanh (Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Da Nang City Police) shared many contents such as: identifying common forms of fraud on social networks, e-commerce, digital finance; skills to protect personal information; civilized and responsible behavior in cyberspace; instructions on how to handle incidents or suspected fraud.

The activity is part of a series of training programs deployed by the Da Nang Youth Union at schools, contributing to concretizing the goal of building a young generation with solid skills and courage in the digital transformation era, joining hands to form a safe, healthy and sustainable online community.
