The Command of Military Region 5 offered incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and other heroic martyrs.

DNO - This morning, December 19th, a delegation from the 5th Military Region Command, led by Major General Luong Dinh Chung, Political Commissar of the 5th Military Region, offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and the memorial monument for fallen artists, writers, and journalists of the 5th Inter-Region at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - 5th Military Region Branch; and commemorated the heroic martyrs, generals, senior officers, and meritorious individuals at the 5th Military Region Cemetery.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation from the 5th Military Region Command respectfully laid wreaths, expressing their profound respect and gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation, and the Vietnam People's Army. On this occasion, the delegation reported on the outstanding achievements of the officers and soldiers of the armed forces of the Military Region in the past period.

At the Military Cemetery of Military Region 5, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs. With deep emotion, the members of the delegation lit incense at each grave, paying tribute to the outstanding sons and daughters who selflessly sacrificed their lives and blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.
