124 portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh were presented as gifts.

On the afternoon of December 16th, at the Vinh Long Provincial Military Command, acting on behalf of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, the 9th Military Region Command presented portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh to 124 communes and wards in Vinh Long province.

At the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, stated that this event holds profound political , cultural, and spiritual significance, expressing the boundless love and deep gratitude of the officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 9 and the people of the Mekong Delta localities towards the great leader of the nation, the national liberation hero, the outstanding cultural figure, and the beloved father of the people's armed forces.

The presentation of portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh to the People's Committees of communes and wards in Vinh Long province is a concrete action aimed at contributing to the widespread dissemination of the core values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style to every cadre, Party member, and citizen; consolidating the great unity between the military and the people; and encouraging localities to continue promoting patriotic emulation movements among the armed forces and all strata of the people. These portrait statues of beloved Uncle Ho, when placed in agencies and offices, will become centers of traditional education and a great source of motivation to encourage and inspire the spirit of cadres, soldiers, and the people.

Major General Nguyen Van Tien suggested that the People's Committees of communes and wards should always cherish, preserve, and place statues of President Ho Chi Minh in the most solemn and respectful locations; and regularly organize political, cultural, and educational activities related to the image and teachings of Uncle Ho. Through these activities, each cadre, Party member, and citizen, when contemplating the statue of Uncle Ho, will reflect on themselves, correct their own shortcomings, and learn from and follow Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics, and style, so that their love and respect for Uncle Ho become concrete and practical actions, focusing on building a clean and strong grassroots political system, while simultaneously improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Hanh Ward, representing 124 communes and wards in Vinh Long province, said that the statue of President Ho Chi Minh is not only a precious artifact but also a sacred symbol of ideals and beliefs, inspiring every cadre, Party member, and citizen to continue cultivating, training, and striving to learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. The donation of the statue will contribute to creating a solemn atmosphere at headquarters, meeting rooms, and political activity centers in communes and wards; improving the quality of traditional education, fostering patriotism, and instilling a sense of responsibility in cadres, civil servants, armed forces personnel, and the people.

At the ceremony, leaders of the 9th Military Region Command and Vinh Long province performed the ritual of presenting portrait statues of President Ho Chi Minh to the communes and wards.
