Born in 1995 and a graduate of the People's Security Academy in 2017, Comrade Nguyen Thuy Linh has worked in various environments, from the Security Investigation Department of the former Yen Bai Provincial Police, Co Phuc Town Police, Tran Yen District Police Staff Team, Y Can Commune Police, and currently Quy Mong Commune Police.

Over 12 years of dedication to the People's Public Security Force is the journey of a female officer who always strives to complete all assigned tasks well. For many years in a row, she has achieved the title of "Good" and "Outstanding" in completing her duties, receiving numerous commendations and awards from various levels and sectors.

The years working at the Staff Team of the Tran Yen District Police were a period that helped Nguyen Thuy Linh mature significantly in terms of professional skills and competence.

Her colleagues admire and respect her not only for her meticulousness in her work but also for her high sense of responsibility. Even when the workload was immense, she patiently reviewed every piece of data and every piece of advice to ensure that reports and plans were completed on time and to the highest quality.

The advisory role acts as a "rhythm-setting force" in the unit's operations. Although not directly present at the scene, it plays a crucial role in ensuring that tasks are implemented synchronously and effectively. Recognizing this importance, she does not allow herself to be complacent, because behind each document lies the practical requirements of ensuring security and order; it serves as the basis for the Party committee, government, and police force to effectively implement assigned tasks.

Upon joining the Quy Mong Commune Police, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh continued her commitment to advisory work – an area that has become her strength after many years of service. She proactively synthesizes, analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts the security and order situation with sharp insight and timeliness. These analyses have helped the Party cell and the commune police command effectively implement directives and resolutions from the higher-level Party committee.

In addition, she participated in tasks related to ensuring grassroots security, building up the force, administrative reform, and the nationwide movement to protect national security in the area. These are all fields that require proactiveness, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to closely understand the practical realities at the grassroots level.

Captain Nguyen Thuy Linh stated: "What I always keep in mind is to have a firm grasp of the local situation, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people so that the advisory work is practical and meets the requirements of the assigned tasks."

When mass mobilization begins with sharing

Regardless of her position, Captain Nguyen Thuy Linh always strives to study, learn from experience, closely follow the unit's work program and plan, and constantly strive to overcome difficulties to successfully complete her assigned tasks. Not only is she diligent in her advisory work, but she also actively participates in crime prevention, social vice prevention, and other activities at the local level.

From directly assessing the local situation, meeting with influential people, participating in legal awareness campaigns, to implementing activities of the nationwide movement to protect national security, she has had more opportunities to interact with and understand the lives of the people.

During the heavy rains and floods caused by the remnants of Typhoon No. 3 ( Yagi ) in 2024, when many localities in Tran Yen district were severely affected by the natural disaster, she and her teammates participated in mobilizing people to evacuate to safe places; at the same time, they connected with charitable organizations to support those in difficult circumstances.

In particular, faced with the plight of three young children in the former Hung Thinh commune who lost their parents due to a landslide, she personally organized a fundraising campaign and collected 22 million VND to support the children through this most difficult period.

From July 1st, 2025 to the present, she has advised, coordinated with various units, and directly initiated and organized the implementation of many meaningful social welfare activities such as "warm blankets for winter" and "meals for children," supporting a total of 31 families and over 300 children with a budget of over 20 million VND.

Her actions stem from a sense of professional responsibility and compassion for the people, especially during difficult times.

Despite being busy with her professional duties, she actively participates in activities to disseminate legal information and promote social welfare; and readily cooperates with local organizations when implementing common tasks. She has left a positive impression on the cadres, women's association members, and the people in the area.”

The imprint behind the overall results

The work of a staff officer is often not as clearly visible as the direct achievements on the front lines of the fight against crime. However, behind every successful plan, program, or model, there is the mark of those working in staff roles.

In Quy Mong, the commune police have proactively advised the local Party committee and government to implement a comprehensive range of solutions to ensure security and order; effectively maintained the "Security Camera," "Zalo Security," and "Safe Traffic Gate at School" models; and promoted propaganda and mobilization of the people to participate in the nationwide movement to protect national security.

In 2025, through the nationwide movement to protect national security, the commune police coordinated and organized 9 legal awareness sessions with approximately 1,500 participants; and mobilized the people to surrender 157 types of weapons, explosives, support tools, and fireworks.

In the first few months of 2026, the security forces of Quy Mong commune police conducted more than 500 visits to villages and hamlets to gather information, disseminate legal knowledge, and encourage people to comply with legal regulations.

Captain Nguyen Thuy Linh, who directly participated in advising and organizing the implementation of tasks to ensure national security and social order in the locality, contributed significantly to these overall achievements.

According to Comrade Nguyen Quoc Binh, Deputy Head of Quy Mong Commune Police, Captain Nguyen Thuy Linh is an officer who is always responsible, dedicated to her work, and proactive in carrying out her assigned tasks.

“In every position she held, Comrade Linh always upheld a high sense of responsibility, proactively advising and proposing solutions that were appropriate to practical requirements; she successfully completed her assigned tasks and earned the trust and affection of her colleagues and the local people,” Comrade Nguyen Quoc Binh shared.

Those contributions were recognized when she became one of the 68 outstanding female grassroots police officers in 2025, commended by the Ministry of Public Security.
