Many people easily recognized that in addition to MC Hoai Anh, MC Huu Bang, Senior Lieutenant Le Thi Ngoc Han and other voices played important roles in the commentary team for the ceremony. Before that, during the practice session, MC Hoai Anh expressed her emotion and honor when meeting the pilots - those who will control the helicopter formation to raise the national flag in the official ceremony.
The role of the commentary team is not only to host the program but also to help millions of television viewers nationwide follow and understand the profound historical significance of each part of the parade. This requires careful preparation in terms of historical knowledge, expressive ability and sincere emotions.
On the evening of August 24, Ba Dinh Square - the historical symbol of Hanoi capital - became the focal point attracting thousands of people and tourists to the surrounding streets to witness the grand rehearsal, preparing for the biggest event of the year.
The general practice session begins at 8pm tonight with the participation of the parade groups, marching through central streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Van Thu, Dien Bien Phu, before returning to Ba Dinh Square amidst the cheers of the people.
The State-level preliminary review will take place on August 27, the general rehearsal (August 30) and the official ceremony to celebrate the 80th National Day (September 2).
