TV presenter Quang Minh apologizes.
On the evening of April 15th, through his personal page with over 613,000 followers, TV presenter Quang Minh officially spoke out after being called out by netizens regarding the controversy surrounding his milk advertisement. He stated that in recent days he had listened to and read all the messages on social media platforms, and received many responses from the public related to his appearance in advertisements for milk products.
In the post, TV presenter Quang Minh apologized for the incident that caused public concern and disappointed many of his fans. He stated that this was something he never intended. "This afternoon I read the brand's correction, and even saw the ingredient list after testing by the National Institute of Food Safety and Hygiene, which showed that the milk's ingredients met quality standards and permissible levels (as provided by the brand). But honestly, I still hope to receive this information from the relevant authorities to ensure the objectivity of the products I've been involved with," he shared.
According to Quang Minh, he is not a doctor or a nutritionist, and has never intended to vouch for or affirm the medical value of any product. As a public figure, he appeared in those promotional videos as an introduction, based on information provided by the brand, within the framework of a legitimate media contract and his own and his family's experience over a period of time. Quang Minh said that his children still use the milk and he only stopped using it a few days ago to wait for the results of the ingredient tests.

Quang Minh admitted to being careless in choosing what he would do with his life.

However, Quang Minh understands that using personal images to advertise health-related products affects audience expectations. He wrote: "I understand that when personal images are associated with a health-related product, the level of expectations and demands from the public is very high. If that appearance has unintentionally caused misunderstanding or misled anyone, I accept responsibility. I am not avoiding blame, nor am I shifting blame. But I hope to be heard and understood that I never intentionally exploited the audience's trust for personal gain. If anything has disappointed people, it is my lack of caution in choosing what I associate with. And I consider that a profound and somewhat bitter lesson."

He said this is not a reaction to an incident, but a carefully considered choice stemming from his desire to focus on his work professionally, as he has always strived for.

Finally, Quang Minh apologized to all the viewers, stating that he would be more cautious and thorough in everything he does in the future. "I would like to thank everyone who gave feedback, whether gentle or harsh, because it all stemmed from expectations and concern. And above all, I sincerely apologize to my audience, those who have always followed, loved, and placed their trust in me throughout this long journey. I will be more cautious and thorough in everything I choose in the future to be worthy of that trust. As for the mistakes and the disciplinary measures… I am ready to accept them sincerely, because whatever I do, I must bear the consequences," he expressed.
Editor Quang Minh's post quickly attracted attention from netizens. Regarding his decision to restrict comments on his personal Facebook page, he explained that he didn't want his children to read negative or harmful comments that could affect their mental health.
Previously, news that the police had initiated a criminal investigation and temporarily detained eight people for two crimes related to the production of 573 different brands of powdered milk intended for people with diabetes, kidney failure, premature babies, and pregnant women attracted significant public attention. The products advertised ingredients such as bird's nest extract, cordyceps, macadamia powder, and walnut powder, but in reality, they contained none of these substances. The incident garnered particular public interest because many artists and celebrities had previously advertised some of these milk products.
