The Ministry of Industry and Trade launches a chatbot to answer questions about E10 gasoline.

To serve the public's need for information about E10 gasoline, the Ministry of Industry and Trade today (June 1st) launched a Q&A chatbot on the Ministry of Industry and Trade's portal and the Industry and Trade Newspaper.

The chatbot operates based on a dataset of hundreds of questions and answers compiled and reviewed by the Industry and Trade Newspaper related to E10 gasoline. It focuses on issues of common public interest, from the concept and policies to which vehicles can use E10 gasoline, how to use it, fuel consumption levels, and the mandatory transition roadmap…

When a reader enters a question, the system searches this database and provides the most relevant answer. In addition, the chatbot also suggests related questions for readers to choose from, receiving accurate and immediate answers based on pre-compiled and reviewed content. This saves readers time and eliminates the need to search multiple sources.

For questions that don't have readily available answers, the chatbot doesn't generate content automatically but records it for the editorial team to add, thereby ensuring that the information provided to readers is always accurate and minimizing errors.

Vietnam has become one of more than 60 countries that have implemented a mandatory ethanol blending policy, with E10 being the most common blending level.

The chatbot is integrated into the online newspaper Cong Thuong and on the Ministry of Industry and Trade's electronic portal at moit.gov.vn, and can be used on personal computers and phones.

This product was researched and developed by the Digital Transformation and Innovation Task Force of the Industry and Trade Newspaper (Task Force 57). It is understood that this is an initial test, built with the aim of providing citizens and readers with a quick, convenient, and reliable channel for information retrieval.

Thus, after releasing the E10 Biofuel User Guide, which provides information on the benefits, usage, and precautions for consumers; and 85 frequently asked questions and answers about E10 fuel, the Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to use the chabot tool to ensure that people's questions related to E10 biofuel are answered as quickly and clearly as possible.
