VHO- Recently, a photo of a giant column of smoke next to a white building has been circulating on Twitter. Many Twitter accounts have posted this photo with the caption “there was a big explosion next to the Pentagon” (nickname for the US Department of Defense Headquarters building in Washington, DC). Immediately after that, stock indexes on US stock exchanges immediately dropped, but no one is sure whether the cause came from that photo or not. All we know is that the stock index increased immediately after the truth was clarified, that “the above photo is fake and is most likely a product of artificial intelligence”!

Authenticating the photo is not difficult, complicated, or time-consuming. But whether artificial intelligence is really behind this incident or not is still unanswered. However, the above “fake photo” has raised two “real questions” about the unpredictable consequences of artificial intelligence and the level of trust in social networks such as Twitter when helping to spread the fake photo.
The first real question is how and to what extent artificial intelligence can be used and abused to produce fake information, fake data and fake images. Artificial intelligence creates fake information and fake images in the context of countries and territories around the world declaring war on fake news in the virtual world. The fight against fake news in the virtual world will become very difficult, complicated and unlikely to succeed if artificial intelligence is used to create fake information, which is then widely and quickly spread. Only when we answer this question can we prevent the use and abuse of artificial intelligence to create and spread false information in cyberspace. The above fake photo raises the question: There must be regulations and legal sanctions for all aspects directly and indirectly related to artificial intelligence, including copyright issues and management, control and supervision of applications of artificial intelligence or using artificial intelligence. In fact, the challenge here is to identify the negative aspects of artificial intelligence very early in order to contain and overcome them.
The second real question is whether social networks that post and spread artificial intelligence products are still trustworthy in the era of artificial intelligence conquering the real world and dominating the virtual world. This question can also be posed in another way, which is: How cautious and vigilant should people be when using social networks in the era of artificial intelligence starting to take effect? The fake photo above was posted and widely spread on Twitter and all accounts were evaluated and confirmed as "trustworthy". Twitter does not filter and does not distinguish between real and fake information; neither do other social networks. In this aspect, two main trends will appear and develop: social networks increase the application of artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence fundamentally changes social networks. The story of the fake photo above with two real questions without answers sends a warning message to people about the negative consequences of artificial intelligence in the modern world.
