Donated 15 laptops to Quang Tri General Hospital

In order to support digital transformation and effectively deploy electronic medical records at Quang Tri General Hospital, on the morning of July 2, 2025, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) - Quang Tri Branch donated 15 laptops with a total value of over 187 million VND to Quang Tri General Hospital.

Previously, on April 13, 2025, Quang Tri General Hospital was recognized as meeting the requirements for implementing electronic medical records to replace paper medical records, an important step in the hospital's modernization journey.

It is known that electronic medical records are not only a modern patient record management tool but also the “heart” of the digital healthcare ecosystem. Completely replacing paper medical records will help reduce procedures, improve the quality of medical data, ensure data security and create a solid foundation for connecting and sharing data with the national healthcare system.

Doctor CKII Phan Xuan Nam, Director of Quang Tri General Hospital affirmed: "The practical support of BIDV - Quang Tri Branch will help the unit upgrade its information technology infrastructure, motivating the medical staff to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, serving the people better and better".
