I want to really immerse myself in the atmosphere, the brilliant space filled with lanterns, toys, star lanterns, to he figurines... to take souvenir photos and feel the bustle of the holiday.”
Visitors to Hang Ma are not only young people but also families with small children and the elderly...
“I find Hang Ma to be very much in the Mid-Autumn Festival spirit: bright lights, bustling laughter, the faint smell of moon cakes. Even though it is crowded, it still gives a warm, intimate feeling, like returning to childhood,” Chung said.
He excitedly said that along Hang Ma Street there are still many decorative flags from the National Day celebration on September 2: "Everywhere I look, I see beautiful red flags with yellow stars, which makes me feel even more patriotic."
