Ho Chi Minh City residents contribute to support flood victims

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, all forms of contributions and sharing for people in flood-affected areas continue to be received through donation accounts or directly at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (55 Mac Dinh Chi, Tan Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City shared that in recent days, the people of the City have sent all their affection to the people of the Central region through essential shipments: food, clothes, necessities... Thanks to that, the people in the flooded areas have initially overcome the most difficult time.

But now, people in the flood-hit areas continue a new journey: post-flood reconstruction. Therefore, in addition to necessities, people in the Central region are in dire need of resources to repair damaged houses; restore schools so that students can return to class soon; build bridges and roads to ensure safety; and stabilize their lives and livelihoods after natural disasters.

Therefore, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City hopes to continue receiving the support of the city's people to help the people of the Central region recover after storms and floods.

As of the morning of November 24, Ho Chi Minh City has supported Khanh Hoa province with 441 tons of goods; Dak Lak province with 220 tons of goods and Lam Dong with 65 tons of goods. It is expected that on November 24, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to support Lam Dong province with 200 tons of goods; Khanh Hoa with 250 tons of goods and Gia Lai with 100 tons of goods.
