11 outstanding works will be awarded at the gala Hello Love

After more than 9 months of launching (from December 27, 2024) on 4 types of press and digital infrastructure, the contest with the theme of "Father" has ended. 11 excellent works will be awarded at the gala Hello love - "Having a father in life" held on the morning of October 6.

The contest attracted nearly 500 entries, of which nearly 160 were published. Through many forms such as: newspaper articles, writing, poems, essays, video clips, songs..., each entry is a priceless spiritual gift that touches the hearts of children towards their beloved father; depicting the love, silent sacrifice and sacred attachment of a father to his little children.

Former Deputy Director, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Radio - Television and Binh Phuoc Newspaper (old) Phan Van Thao shared: “I also participated in the previous seasons. I participated because of my interest and passion. I think that in the fast-paced, modern life, this stage is a quiet place to nurture my soul. There are times when we need to calm down to share very ordinary stories in life. This is exactly what the Editorial Board, including me, has strongly supported from the very beginning of the program's development.”

Authors of different ages and professions have brought works with different perspectives on sacred and noble values of fatherhood.

“I have known about the contest “Hello love” since the first seasons. I wrote the song “Owe Dad, a handshake” as a way to face my own pain, to clarify what is in my heart, to become more mature and also as a response to my father - a response that I could no longer say directly to him. The handshake that I owe my father is a handshake from him to lead his daughter to the sidewalk. That was a wish that my father always cherished when he was alive. But his sudden passing turned that promise into a debt that haunts me until now” - that is the touching story of author Nguyen Tran Thanh Truc ( Ho Chi Minh City).

As for child singer Le Bao Nhi, the youngest contestant - 12 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City, she came to the contest thanks to her mother's encouragement when she heard about the launch on Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television.

Bao Nhi confided: “Participating in the contest with the song “Father and Daughter”, I am very happy to be present in this program. This is the first time I have competed on this topic and sung for my father. My father was very surprised and touched. Through the contest, I feel more mature and love and care for my parents more. I hope that Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television will continue to organize the contest so that I have the opportunity to participate by writing poems or essays.”

Of the nearly 500 entries, 30 were selected for the final round. The competition's organizing committee selected 11 winning entries, including: 1 special prize and 11 excellent prizes.

The award ceremony will take place during the gala program Hello Love - "Having a father in life" and meeting and interacting with collaborators at 9:00 a.m. on October 6, 2025 at the Theater of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television.
