150 athletes compete in the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City VOVINAM Club Tournament

On the morning of October 5, at the Binh Duong Province Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium (Ho Chi Minh City), the Opening Ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Vovinam Club Tournament 2025 took place.

The tournament attracted more than 14 units in Ho Chi Minh City to compete enthusiastically to welcome the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The Ho Chi Minh City Vovinam Club Tournament is not only a place for competition but also a place to spread passion, preserve the cultural identity of national martial arts, arouse national pride through each martial art move, affirm the will and spirit of Vietnamese martial arts. This is the first event in a series of sports activities to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party in Region 2 (formerly Binh Duong ).

The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Vovinam Club Tournament brings together more than 150 athletes from 14 units in the city to compete enthusiastically.

In parallel with the Ho Chi Minh City Vovinam Club Tournament, also on the morning of October 5, at EcoLakes My Phuoc Urban Area (Thoi Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the "Color Run EcoLakes 2025" took place with the participation of Mr. Firdauz Othman, Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City and more than 2,000 running enthusiasts; at the Community Sports Center (Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the Ho Chi Minh City Business - Entrepreneur Tennis Tournament 2025 took place with the participation of nearly 100 athletes who are leaders, businessmen, journalists, civil servants, artists in the area.

The "Color Run EcoLakes 2025" took place with the participation of Mr. Firdauz Othman, Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City and many delegates.

With many exciting activities, Ho Chi Minh City's sports and physical training continue to spread good values ​​to the community, actively respond to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and welcome the 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
