Attending the workshop were Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, along with nearly 180 delegates including doctors, scientists and experts in the field of health sciences.
The presiding committee chaired the workshop.
Professor Luong Minh Cu, Rector of Cuu Long University, said that many topics were discussed at the conference, such as training in health science fields in the context of current international integration; hospital management and high-quality medical personnel; disease management in the new situation; and linkages in training, research, production, and transfer of pharmaceutical science and technology between Vietnam and India...
The conference received 42 papers from experts and scientists in the field of health sciences.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. E Venkata Rao, Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital Sum (India), presented his topic online at the conference.
The workshop featured 15 presentations, both in person and online; including 6 by foreign experts (India, Canada, Taiwan, Thailand) and 9 by domestic experts from several universities offering health-related programs and provincial health departments in the Mekong Delta region.
According to the organizers, the workshop also aims to connect and foster cooperation and knowledge exchange among scientists from Vietnam and abroad, as well as related organizations, and to stimulate knowledge related to health sciences. This will contribute to improving the quality of human resource training for the healthcare sector, meeting the demands of society.
