After nearly a year of operating under the new model, the Bach Quang Ward Public Administrative Service Center has gradually affirmed its effectiveness in handling procedures for the people. Bach Quang Ward was established by merging three former administrative units: Bach Quang Ward, Luong Son Ward, and Tan Quang Commune. After the merger, the locality has a natural area of ​​35.02 km2, a population of over 26,600 people, and 43 residential groups. The large geographical area has led to a significant increase in the need for administrative procedures.

Every day, the Bach Quang Ward Public Administrative Service Center receives numerous applications related to civil registration, land, notarization, residence confirmation, and social welfare policies. Despite the heavy workload and limited facilities, the staff here maintain a sense of responsibility and proactively assist citizens, especially the elderly or those unfamiliar with online public services.

Mr. Duong Van Hien, a Culture and Social Affairs specialist at the Bach Quang Ward Public Administrative Service Center, said: "After the merger, the number of applications increased significantly compared to before. Therefore, staff at the center always strive to provide specific guidance and minimize the need for people to make multiple trips to submit additional documents."

The effectiveness of the post-merger model is clearly demonstrated by specific figures. From July 1, 2025 to May 10, 2026, Bach Quang ward received more than 10,425 administrative procedure applications. Of these, 10,109 applications were received online, and 316 applications were received in person.

To date, the locality has processed 10,266 applications on time and ahead of schedule; 159 applications are being processed in accordance with regulations. There are no outstanding or overdue applications. Between January 1, 2026 and May 10, 2026 alone, the Center received 3,292 applications. Of these, 3,146 were processed on time, and 146 are currently being processed and are not yet due.

This result demonstrates the local government's significant efforts in implementing administrative reforms and clearly reflects the transformation in the service spirit of the staff after the merger. In summary, after 5 months of implementing the merger in 2025, Bach Quang ward was ranked first among the 92 communes and wards of the province in terms of administrative procedure resolution. This is not only a professional achievement but also demonstrates the rapid adaptation of the local government apparatus after the administrative unit reorganization.
