Young staff compete in the 7th English Olympiad

Candidates responded to the contest right after the opening ceremony.

The contest is open to candidates who are union officials, young civil servants, public employees, businessmen, and armed forces youth aged 18-35. This year, the contest has the theme “Vietnamese Youth Officials stepping into the thriving era together with English”.

This year's competition has some new features such as: the competition tables are re-divided, and the competition subjects are expanded; additional questions and competition topics are integrated from round 2 onwards; and a number of sideline activities are implemented throughout the competition journey...

The competition will go through 3 rounds, round 1 is an online test, round 2 is a presentation and round 3 is the national final. In response to the competition, right after the opening ceremony, 60 contestants in all 3 groups including union officials, young civil servants, public employees, enterprises and young armed forces, and independent contestants across the country entered the competition. The most outstanding contestants among them received valuable prizes from the organizing committee.

On the same day, the seminar “Vietnamese Youth Officials stepping into the thriving era together with English” was held, with the participation of prestigious speakers.

At the seminar, delegates focused on clarifying current trends and effective ways to learn English; opportunities to study and improve foreign languages ​​and international integration skills for union members and young people; and experiences and lessons learned from participating in the contest.
