Moc Chau Plateau is bustling before the festival

The annual Cultural - Tourism Week event with the theme "Moc Chau - Call of the season of love" originated from the Mong ethnic cultural festival and developed into the Moc Chau district ethnic cultural festival. By 2023, it was upgraded to a provincial-level event, called the Cultural - Tourism Week "Moc Chau - Call of the season of love". This is the biggest cultural and tourism event of the year on the Moc Chau plateau with many rich and attractive cultural, sports and tourism activities; highly anticipated by the people and tourists.

Moc Chau Culture - Tourism Week 2025 is held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This is an opportunity to promote the "Moc Chau National Tourist Area", the brand "Moc Chau - The World's Leading Natural Destination". The event also aims to honor the unique culture of ethnic groups and mark the first year of operation under the 2-level government model, organized on a scale and nature of inter-commune and ward.

The People's Committee of Moc Son Ward was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of the following communes and wards: Moc Chau, Thao Nguyen, Van Son, Long Sap, Chieng Son, Doan Ket, Tan Yen and related departments, branches, and units to organize "Moc Chau Culture - Tourism Week" in 2025. As the presiding unit, Moc Son Ward proactively met with the communes and wards to agree on the contents, organization methods, and assign presiding and coordinating the implementation of tasks.

These days, units and functional forces of Moc Son ward in particular, and communes and wards on Moc Chau plateau in general, have been carrying out a peak period of clearing traffic corridors, managing construction order, and cleaning the environment along roads and residential areas, especially areas where activities take place.

Moc Chau Culture - Tourism Week 2025 will take place from August 28 to September 2, with outstanding activities such as: Art program "Moc Chau - Call of the season of love"; Fair connecting safe agricultural product consumption; street community activities; cultural camp competition, ethnic cuisine competition and other cultural, sports and tourism activities; low-altitude fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2... More special when it is organized for the first time in the form of coordination between communes and wards in Moc Chau National Tourist Area. Therefore, coordination between localities is an important factor determining the success of this event.

Together with local authorities, at this time, accommodation service businesses are actively preparing facilities and conditions to serve tourists attending the Moc Chau Culture - Tourism Week in 2025.
