Ha Long Carnival 2026: A colorful cultural earthquake.

(CLO) Attracting 80,000 locals and tourists, the Ha Long Carnival 2026 created a colorful cultural "earthquake," affirming its position as the largest street music festival ever held in Quang Ninh.

At exactly 6:30 PM on April 30th, the area along the heritage bay blazed with the resounding sounds of drums and captivating dances. Nearly a kilometer along Tran Quoc Nghien street transformed into a giant stage, where the boundaries between artists and audience were completely blurred by the fervent spirit of the festival.

The event is a central highlight of the 2026 Summer Culture, Sports and Tourism Week, and also a special spiritual gift to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and International Labor Day on May 1st.

The festive atmosphere was enlivened by the appearance of 14 domestic and international art troupes, along with a dazzling array of floats representing the province's localities. The seamless blend of tradition and modernity was evident in every movement of the lion and dragon dance troupes, the resounding sound of the festival drums...

Every square meter of Tran Quoc Nghien Street was filled with smiles and admiring glances from tens of thousands of tourists immersed in the colorful parade. The excitement reached its peak when the parade entered the 30/10 Square, marking the opening of the internationally-scaled ceremony.

The multi-dimensional open stage, utilizing state-of-the-art performance technology, celebrates the enchanting beauty of Ha Long Bay and delivers an intense visual experience through a system of large LED screens and high-powered sound. The 80,000-seat auditorium was packed with spectators, all joining in for an unprecedented concert on such a grand scale.
