On the evening of March 1st, Ezra FC officially lifted the championship trophy of the Lao National League 2024/25. This is the first time in the club's history, after 22 years since its founding, that Ezra FC has won the title. At the end of the season, Ezra FC topped the league table with 38 points after 14 matches, 4 points ahead of second-placed Young Elephants.
Ezra FC won 12 out of 14 matches, drew 2, and lost none. With this championship, Ezra FC secured a ticket to the AFC Challenge League 2025/26 and 450 million kip in prize money (approximately 529 million VND).
Ezra FC player Damoth Thongkamsavath was voted the best player of the tournament. In the final match of the season, Erza FC won 5-1 against MD Viengchanh, with Damoth contributing one goal in the 70th minute.

Damoth Thongkamsavath (born in 2004) made a significant contribution to Ezra FC's championship victory with 7 goals and 4 assists in 12 matches. Notably, Damoth is of Vietnamese descent. His grandparents both hold Vietnamese citizenship but have lived in Laos for a long time. The midfielder revealed that his grandparents are from Quang Binh province.
At the 2024 AFF Cup, Damoth attracted attention while playing for the Laos national team. In this tournament, Damoth made his mark with two assists in the 3-3 draw against Indonesia and the 2-3 loss against Myanmar in the group stage.
At the 31st SEA Games, Damoth Thongkhamsavath was a key midfielder for the Laos U22 team. He was given an opportunity by coach Michael Weiss when he was just 18 years old and quickly showed his talent.
Coach Ha Hyeok Jun is likely to call up Damoth Thongkhamsavath when the Laos national team faces Vietnam in the third round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers on March 25th.
