Damoth Thongkamsavath (born in 2004) contributed greatly to Ezra FC's championship with 7 goals and 4 assists after 12 matches. Notably, Damoth is a player of Vietnamese origin. His grandparents are both Vietnamese citizens but have lived in Laos for a long time. The midfielder revealed that his grandparents are from Quang Binh province.

At the AFF Cup 2024, Damoth attracted attention when playing for the Laos national team. In this tournament, Damoth left his mark with 2 assists in the 3-3 draw with Indonesia and a 2-3 loss to Myanmar in the group stage.

Remember at SEA Games 31, Damoth Thongkhamsavath was the mainstay midfielder of U22 Laos. He was given the opportunity by coach Michael Weiss when he was only 18 years old and soon showed his talent.

Coach Ha Hyeok Jun is likely to call up Damoth Thongkhamsavath when Laos meets Vietnam in the third qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup on March 25.
