Overview of the conference summarizing the work in 2023 and implementing the plan for 2024.

Attending the Conference were comrade Hoang Ngoc Trung - Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy General Director; Comrade Kieu Ngoc Anh - Member of the Party Executive Committee, Member of the Executive Committee of Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union, Chairman of PVEP Trade Union; Comrade Dao Ngoc Duan - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Corporation's Trade Union, Chairman of PVEP Song Hong Trade Union; Comrade Tran Trong Nghia - Member of the Executive Committee of PVEP Trade Union, Chairman of PVEP Hanoi Trade Union; and comrades in the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of PVEP Hanoi Grassroots Trade Union.

Reporting at the Conference, Chairman of PVEP Hanoi Trade Union Tran Trong Nghia said that currently, PVEP Hanoi Trade Union has 13 affiliated trade unions with a number of 460 fans and employees (of which 204 are women). All employees are guaranteed income and employment, the average income is estimated at 55 million VND/person/month. All employees are eligible to participate in Postpaid Life Insurance, Voluntary Retirement Insurance, Accident Insurance and Human Life Insurance.

Through many forms of organizing activities, cohesion has been created among the workers. Through the union, workers have a healthy living environment, with specialized clubs to create a vibrant and joyful atmosphere; Through this, the Trade Union can also listen and exchange the full thoughts and aspirations of the employees, helping the cohesion throughout the unit to be unified, effective and timely.

In 2023, the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term took place. All fans and workers participated in extensive and democratic political activities, which was a festival for fans and workers.

Last year was also the year PVEP implemented restructuring of the Corporation's apparatus. After a period of adapting to the new operating model, the Board's activities have now stabilized, creating momentum for PVEP's new sustainable development. Along with that, PVEP Hanoi Communist Party has also reorganized the Border Guards and consolidated the Executive Committees of the Border Guards in the new Boards after restructuring.

Regarding progress: 13/13 Section Trade Union has completed the work of organizing the Congress at the Section Trade Union level according to the set schedule in the first quarter of 2023. PVEP Hanoi Communist Party has completed organizing the Congress according to the set schedule before May 31, 5.

Regarding quality and content: Trade union congresses at all levels at PVEP Hanoi Communist Party have completed all the purposes as required by the plan. Congresses at all levels summarized and evaluated trade union work for the 2017-2023 term and developed mission directions for the 2023-2028 term; elect the Executive Committee for the new term 2023-2028 and a delegation to attend the upper-level trade union congress; Participate in discussions and contribute opinions to documents of trade union congresses at all levels.

PVEP Hanoi Communist Party actively propagates and mobilizes employees to raise awareness, always be vigilant and well implement policies and directives of competent authorities on Covid-19 epidemic prevention in the new situation and epidemics. Other diseases such as dengue fever and pink eye, PVEP Hanoi Communist Party is always active in organizing activities to care for workers and relatives of workers with serious illnesses. Through information channels from the Border Guards, the PVEP Hanoi Police Force always promptly encourages, visits and supports cases of workers and their relatives suffering from serious illnesses.

Awarding certificates of merit from the Corporation's Trade Union to groups and individuals with good achievements.

Promoting the positive aspects of activities in 2023, based on the Resolution of the IV PVEP Hanoi Communist Party Congress, term 2023-2028, the Executive Committee of PVEP Hanoi Communist Party plans key tasks in 2024 as follows: : Encourage employees to actively emulate creative labor, promote initiatives, inventions, technical improvements, and strive to successfully complete PVEP's 2024 production and business tasks assigned by the Group; Deploy inspection and supervision by peers and departmental unions on grassroots democracy and financial work;

Organize training, refresher training, training on theory and professional trade union work for trade union officials; Actively participate in Party building work, striving to introduce at least 15 outstanding trade union members to consider joining the Party; Continue to build a healthy and effective living environment for sports clubs; Organize/participate in Cultural and Sports activities organized by Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union/PVEP Trade Union. Implement social security activities for people with difficult circumstances in society based on coordination with PVEP Trade Union and member unions in the Corporation; Regularly organize fire safety and hygiene inspections at headquarters; Regularly care for employees and employees' relatives...

Noting and appreciating the operational results of PVEP Hanoi Trade Union in recent times, Deputy General Director of PVEP Hoang Ngoc Trung shared with the Conference a number of solutions for PVEP Trade Union to operate more effectively during this period. In the coming time, emphasis will be placed on taking care of workers' lives, building and spreading corporate culture, and promoting the implementation of emulation movement activities to promote production and business.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of PVEP Trade Union Kieu Ngoc Anh expressed high agreement with the operating direction of PVEP Hanoi Trade Union in 2024.
