Correcting the use of project names and areas in housing projects

The Department of Construction has just issued an official dispatch on rectifying the use of project names and area names in housing construction investment projects in the city.

Accordingly, in the past, some investors in housing construction investment projects used the project name and the names of areas in the project that were not the correct names decided by the competent authority (using foreign language names, names with housing classification content, etc.) to advertise and sell real estate, not ensuring compliance with legal regulations. To rectify and overcome the above situation, the Department of Construction requires investors in housing construction investment projects to use the correct project name and the names of areas in the project that were decided by the competent authority throughout the entire investment and construction process and management and use after the completion of investment and construction.

The Department of Construction also requested the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Culture and Sports to regularly inspect and handle acts of posting information, advertising, and classified ads using project names and names of areas in housing construction investment projects that are not in accordance with the names decided by competent authorities. The People's Committees of districts and towns regularly inspect and handle violations in the use of project names and names of areas in housing construction investment projects in accordance with regulations.
