Milestone 275, inaugurated on December 26, 2015, was constructed according to the technical design of the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction . It is 2.2 meters high from the base, made of granite, weighs 1.2 tons, and has a foundation approximately 2 meters deep, cast in permanent reinforced concrete. The area around the milestone is paved with 4cm thick granite.

The Cambodian delegation participating in the ceremony was led by General Nieng Phat, Secretary of State - Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence of the Royal Cambodian Army, and included five Generals representing the Army Command, the Gendarmerie Command, the Border Department, the National Police General Directorate, the Immigration General Directorate of the Royal Cambodian Army, and the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia.

Other members of the Cambodian delegation attending the ceremony included leaders from Takeo and Kandal provinces, the Military Sub-district, the Police Department, the Gendarmerie Command of the two provinces, the 601st Road Border Guard Regiment (Special Military Region), the 1st Border Guard Battalion (Ta Keo Military Sub-district), the 603rd Border Police Battalion (Ta Keo Police Department), and the 605th Border Police Battalion (Kandal Police).

General Nguyen Chi Vinh presided over the ceremony.

In Vietnam, hundreds of local people participated in the ceremony to mark the border, along with representatives from agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense, the Border Guard Command, the National Border Committee (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, and the commanders and political commissars of the Border Guard of 9 border provinces between Vietnam and Cambodia. Specifically for An Giang province, representatives from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, the Fatherland Front, the National Assembly delegation, and representatives from various departments, as well as the Party Committees and People's Committees of the border districts, were all present.

Cambodian Border Guard and Border Police forces

Security in the area has been tightened. Armed troops are on duty to patrol the outer perimeter.

A delegation of senior officers from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence, led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, performed the ceremony of saluting the sovereignty marker.
