Passionate student leader
As Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union and President of the Student Association of Khanh Hoa University, Mr. Dang Viet Tinh (born in 1999) not only possesses outstanding achievements throughout his years in the classroom, but is also an active and talented student leader. With a passion for Mathematics, he has continuously affirmed his ability with 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the National Student Mathematics Olympiad; actively participating in scientific research to contribute to bringing Mathematics to serve life. Mr. Dang Viet Tinh is also an excellent graduate and valedictorian of the 2020 - 2024 graduation course of the university. In addition, he also actively organizes and participates in union and association activities; plays a key role in the Green Summer volunteer campaign, Exam Support, Khanh Hoa Student Journey to the Homeland's Islands, and the university's student counseling and support programs...

With outstanding contributions, Mr. Dang Viet Tinh has been awarded the title of "5 Good Students" at the Central level for two consecutive years (2022 - 2023 and 2023 - 2024 school years); received a certificate of merit from the Minister of Education and Training (2022 - 2023 school year); won the January Star Award at the Central level in 2024; was recognized by the Provincial Youth Union as "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" in 2023... With the viewpoint "Youth must always be pioneers, volunteering; leading in scientific research and innovation to contribute to the development of the homeland and the country", he always nurtures the aspiration to contribute more to the development of Khanh Hoa University, as well as being ready to contribute his efforts to the development of the province and the whole country.
Bring knowledge to build the homeland
Born and raised in Van Ninh commune, the eldest of five siblings, living in a near-poor family, Ho Thi Minh Thoa - a fourth-year student majoring in Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Food Technology, Nha Trang University, soon understood the hardships of her parents' livelihood. A difficult childhood with days of helping her family raise livestock and work in the fields instilled in Thoa the will and aspiration to change her life with knowledge. Entering university, Thoa not only strived to study but also proactively sought out and researched science and gradually affirmed her abilities through many outstanding achievements such as: Title of "5 Good Students" at the provincial level; 1 of 10 outstanding faces of Nha Trang University in the 2023-2024 school year; encouragement prize in the National Student Chemistry Olympiad, being the school's representative to attend the National Student Scientific Research Conference in December, receiving scholarships for students with outstanding achievements...

As one of the students selected by the school to participate in the student exchange program in Germany for the 2024-2025 academic year, Thoa shared: “That trip broadened my horizons, helped me access modern scientific and technological advances, and at the same time ignited in me a desire to contribute. I want to do something to improve my homeland's marine environment through research on recycling fishing nets into useful items. After graduating from university, I plan to study for a master's degree for 2 years to acquire advanced knowledge, update modern technological processes, and then return to my homeland to apply what I have learned into practice."
Wish to contribute to the province
At the 50th Anniversary of Khanh Hoa Province Liberation Day (April 2, 1975 - April 2, 2025), towards the 50th Anniversary of Southern Liberation Day and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) taking place at April 2 Square (Nha Trang Ward), Nguyen Nhat Khanh Hien, a 12th grade student at Nguyen Trai High School (Ninh Hoa Ward) was honored to be chosen as the representative of the province's young generation to speak.

That honor is completely deserved when looking at the academic achievements that Hien has achieved: Certificate of Merit from the Central Council of Young Pioneers for outstanding achievements at the 7th National Children's House Festival in 2022; first prize in the 3rd English Olympic Contest for students of Khanh Hoa province - 2023; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Youth Union for excellent Youth Union Secretary in 2025... During 12 years of study, Hien has always maintained the achievements of an excellent student, actively participated in competitions and movement activities organized by the Youth Union and Young Pioneers, and was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Nguyen Trai High School for 3 consecutive years.
On a day at the end of August, we met and talked with Khanh Hien, who was about to become a new student majoring in Television Journalism at the Academy of Journalism and Communication. Hien shared: “Since I was little, I have dreamed of becoming a journalist. I believe that journalism is not just about simply conveying news, but also carries with it social responsibility, contributing to orienting public opinion and speaking up for the disadvantaged, helping to make life better. My biggest wish in the future is to return and work in the field of journalism in the province to be able to fulfill my responsibility to society.”
