At the Paris Air Show 2025, Vietjet signed a historic order for 100 A321neo aircraft with 50 purchase options – the largest deal in the industry, placing Vietjet in the Top 10 airlines with the largest aircraft orders globally.
Vietjet and Rolls-Royce have also signed an order for an additional 40 Trent 7000 engines to power 20 Airbus A330neo wide-body aircraft, bringing the total number of Trent 7000 engines ordered by Vietjet to 80.
Construction begins on a strategic project in Long Thanh.
Vietjet officially commenced construction of its Aircraft Maintenance and Technical Center in Long Thanh, comprising hangars 3 and 4, capable of simultaneously maintaining 10 aircraft to international standards. This is a key project in a series of 80 constructions celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day.
Simultaneously, Vietjet is implementing self-service ground handling at major airports, improving service quality, optimizing operations, and providing a superior experience for passengers.
