Building a strong team, nurturing future talent.

According to Pham Xuan Khanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and Chairman of the Provincial Children's Council, in recent times, the children's councils at all levels have proactively advised Party committees and authorities, and coordinated with relevant sectors to create favorable conditions for the activities of the children's organization inside and outside schools. The coordination between the Youth Union and the education and training sector in children's work and children's movements has been close and effective.

The protection, care, and education of children and the development of youth organizations at all levels are given priority. Cadres responsible for children's affairs receive training and professional development in their areas of expertise and skills. The activities, programs, and movements of the Youth Organization are implemented effectively and creatively.

The province currently has 198 brigades and 2,391 sub-teams with a total of 111,820 members, including children and teenagers. Assessments show that the various levels of the youth movement have continuously innovated and improved the quality of their activities. Notable examples include movements such as: " Quang Tri Children Compete to Excellently Implement the Five Teachings of Uncle Ho," "A Thousand Good Deeds," "Journey to Red Addresses," and "Silk Shirts for Grandmothers," which have created an environment for children to cultivate patriotism, a beautiful lifestyle, and life skills.

The emulation movements for learning have been effectively implemented by all levels of the military, such as: "Study well - Train diligently", "Learning goes hand in hand with practice", "Good study hours", "Excellent grades"... Over the past 5 years, the entire province has established 300 study groups, 283 hobby clubs, and 360 skills clubs, attracting nearly 4,500 children to participate.

The "For Our Beloved Children" campaign has been implemented in depth through programs such as: "Spring Fair," "Tet Holiday in My Hometown," "Launch Ceremony of the Month of Action for Children," etc. Through these programs, youth union and children's organizations at all levels have awarded 12,500 gifts and scholarships worth more than 10 billion VND to disadvantaged children; built the "Youth Union's Foster Children" model to provide regular support for nearly 500 poor children; and organized more than 360 free swimming lessons for 12,000 children throughout the province.

Social skills education activities for teenagers, such as "Military Semester" and "Learning to be a Useful Person," have been effectively implemented. Science playgrounds like "I Love Science," "Young Informatics," and "Young Innovators" contribute to helping children access and apply science and technology to life, stimulating creative thinking and igniting a passion for research.

" Young sprouts" are doing a good job.

The remarkable progress of children in Quang Tri province is clear evidence of the effectiveness of the youth group's educational environment and children's movements. A prime example is Nguyen Quynh Anh, a 4th-grade student from Ward 4 Primary and Secondary School in Dong Ha City, who has achieved the title of outstanding student for four consecutive years, won many impressive awards in provincial and national competitions, and received the title of "Good Child of Uncle Ho" at the provincial level for the 2020-2025 period. "Thanks to the guidance of the youth group and my active participation in children's movements, I have transformed from a shy student into a confident, dynamic, and proactive one in my studies and group activities."

Through movements, competitions, themed activities, experiential learning, and social work, I have honed my communication, presentation, and group organization skills, and developed a sense of responsibility. As a result, I am always ready to take on tasks for the school's youth organization, becoming a positive force that inspires my friends to participate in youth activities and movements,” said Nguyen Quynh Anh, a cheerful member of the youth organization. Not only is she a good student, but Quynh Anh is also a shining example, always sharing and helping her friends, and demonstrating a strong sense of preserving traditions and building a united class.

According to Ms. Vo Thi Luan, the head teacher in charge of the Youth Union at Ward 4 Primary and Secondary School, the Youth Union always focuses on organizing many practical activities to educate and train its members and children. Among these, many new and effective models have spread and attracted a large number of members and children to participate, such as the movements: "Saving money in piggy banks - Supporting students to school," "Small projects," the forum "Building beautiful friendships - Saying no to school violence"; visiting, offering incense, and caring for over 500 martyrs' graves at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Highway 9; and building the "Red Scarf House" youth project initiated by higher authorities... These activities not only create a positive and healthy learning environment but also help children "grow" in terms of knowledge, morality, and life skills.

According to Mr. Pham Xuan Khanh, by regularly organizing many practical programs and activities, the military at all levels has created a training environment for children from a young age. Young Pioneers and children participate actively and proactively in these activities, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility, creativity, and teamwork in each activity.

Through these activities, the children develop many important life skills. At the same time, participating in community-oriented activities, focusing on traditions and revolutionary ideals, contributes to fostering patriotism, compassion, discipline, and responsibility towards themselves, their families, and society.

Over the past five years, military units at all levels in the province have awarded the title "Good Children of Uncle Ho" to more than 69,844 young Pioneers and children; and commended over 850 exemplary young Pioneers who have done many good deeds. Through their participation and positive contributions to practical and meaningful youth projects and activities, many young Pioneers and children have become shining examples in their studies and training, becoming a core force in the activities and work of the Pioneer organization and the children's movement in the province.
