On the afternoon of June 2, National Assembly Chairwoman Vuong Dinh Hue chaired a working session with agencies on reviewing the preparation for a question-and-answer session at the 6th session of the 5th National Assembly.
Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairwoman Vuong Dinh Hue said that according to the program of the 5th session, the question-and-answer session will take place from June 6-8.
On the basis of collecting votes for opinions of the National Assembly deputies, at this session, the National Assembly will deal with 4 groups of issues in the fields of labor, war invalids and social affairs; ethnic field; science and technology and transportation. At the end of the questioning session, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai will participate in answering questions from National Assembly deputies and clarifying related issues.
Up to now, the ministers, the heads of the branches responsible for answering the main questions have reported to the National Assembly deputies related to the questionable issues. Mr. Cuong stated that, with the implementation of the preparation for questioning activities early, NA deputies have more time to carefully study the reports of the ministers and branch heads, on that basis to prepare the required questions. Ministers and sector heads also have time to prepare more carefully to answer questions to clarify the contents, responsibilities and management solutions in order to make real changes in the fields.
Mr. Cuong added that, in order to prepare to serve the Minister, the branch head in the process of answering questions, will arrange to have an assistant or secretary to sit with the Minister, the head of the branch to help record ideas and support.
