Fire breaks out at a leather shoe factory in Nam Dinh.

A fire suddenly broke out at a leather shoe factory in Nghia Hai commune (Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province ), with a column of smoke rising dozens of meters into the air.

At noon on December 19th, in an exchange with reporters, the leaders of Nghia Hai commune People's Committee confirmed that a fire had just occurred in the area.

Accordingly, at around 10:00 AM on the same day, a fire suddenly broke out at the warehouse of a leather shoe company in Hamlet 3, Phu Tho (Nghia Hai commune), and the flames quickly spread, engulfing the entire warehouse.

Upon receiving the report, local authorities and the fire and rescue forces quickly mobilized firefighting vehicles to the scene to deal with the fire.

As of now, the fire has been brought under control, and there have been no casualties.

"The fire occurred in the company's warehouse, separate from the area where workers were producing goods. The initial cause has been determined to be an electrical short circuit," said a leader of the Nghia Hai commune People's Committee.
