(PLVN) - A major fire recently broke out at An Lo Market (in Phong An commune, Phong Dien district, Hue City), destroying many stalls and shops belonging to small traders.

At approximately 1 PM on April 18th, a fire broke out in a kiosk in the central area of ​​the market. The flames then quickly spread, engulfing many stalls selling clothes, food, children's toys, and household goods.

The fire broke out in the row of shops on the outer edge of the market.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Hue City Fire and Rescue Police force quickly dispatched several specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to control the fire.

Firefighting and rescue forces are working hard to bring the fire under control.

By approximately 2 PM that day, the fire was largely under control; however, cooling and extinguishing of remaining embers were still ongoing to prevent the risk of reignition.
