Major fire breaks out at Nhon Trach 6 industrial park.

On the afternoon of May 10th, authorities in Dong Nai city and Phuoc An commune brought a large fire at a textile company in Nhon Trach 6 industrial park under control.

The fire sent smoke rising dozens of meters into the air.

According to initial information, at approximately 11:00 AM on the same day, a fire broke out in the fabric roll storage area of ​​G&E Vietnam Co., Ltd., Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park, Phuoc An commune. At that time, some people in the company used available materials to try to extinguish the fire but were unsuccessful.

Because the materials used were highly flammable fabric, the fire quickly spread throughout the thousands of square meters of the factory, and thick smoke rose into the air.

Immediately after receiving the report, the police and military forces of Phuoc An commune were dispatched to the scene.

At the same time, the Dong Nai City Police deployed numerous specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Due to the large fire, the Management Board of Nhon Trach 6, Nhon Trach 3 and Vinatex Tan Tao industrial parks dispatched an additional 3 fire trucks to the area to extinguish the flames.

Speaking with a reporter from Nhan Dan Newspaper, Do Huy Khanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phuoc An commune, said that by approximately 1:45 PM, the fire had been largely brought under control by the authorities. Currently, the local authorities are continuing to coordinate with the fire fighting forces of Dong Nai City Police to extinguish the remaining fire.

* Earlier, at approximately 8 PM on May 8th, a fire broke out at a raw cotton warehouse covering an area of ​​about 20,000 ^m² belonging to Renze Textile Joint Stock Company, located in Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park, Nhon Trach Ward. Authorities from Dong Nai City and Nhon Trach Ward quickly coordinated with other units to deploy firefighting teams to control the fire, prevent its spread, and completely extinguish it by 10 PM the same day.

The fire caused no casualties. Regarding property damage, authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage and investigating the cause.
