At over 5 PM, a fire broke out in a woodworking factory spanning hundreds of square meters on Street No. 7, Long Thanh My Ward. Many people saw the fire and rushed in to put it out, but without success.

The Thu Duc City Police and fire trucks were dispatched to the scene. Because the wood workshop was located near the Thu Duc City Military Command, the military personnel arrived to help extinguish the fire and move property.

Police then brought in water hoses to put out the fire. More than 30 minutes later, the fire was extinguished.

Initial assessments indicate that the fire caused no casualties, but significant property damage was caused.
