Colorful, uniquely shaped bundles of incense sticks in Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district are becoming a "brand new" check-in spot, attracting tourists, especially those who love virtual life.
About 100 meters from the gate of Hang Mua Tourist Area, the incense stick "map" is located in Khe Dau Ha village, Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district. This is a check-in point that has just been put into operation to serve the needs of tourists for sightseeing and photography.
Mr. Luong Anh Tai, representative of this photo spot, said: "Recently, the trend of taking photos with incense sticks has been loved by many tourists. Meanwhile, in Ninh Binh , there are only one or two small-scale check-in spots. Therefore, I decided to "play big" to satisfy my passion for tourism as well as serve tourists."
Accordingly, on an area of 1,500 m2, Mr. Tai has dedicated 700 m2 to display bundles of incense sticks. The sticks are brought back from Quang Phu Cau village (Ung Hoa district, Hanoi ), without chemicals, safe for tourists.
The main color chosen is red. Next to it are bundles of yellow and blue toothpicks that are harmoniously and beautifully decorated. Most notably, the image of the Vietnam map and the red flag with yellow star are impressively and attractively shaped by unique bundles of incense sticks.
To facilitate tourists to have many beautiful photo angles, Mr. Tai also installed additional miniatures such as swings, earthen houses, wooden stairs and "did not forget" to decorate with many Vietnamese national flags in his check-in area.
Ms. Dinh Huong (Ninh Binh city) shared: "So I didn't have to go far but had a photo album with incense sticks right in my hometown. What impressed me most was the image of the map of Vietnam with the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa - as an affirmation to international friends about the country's sovereignty over the sea and islands."
Ms. Tran Thu Trang, a tourist from Nam Dinh, said: "After exploring Hang Mua, we were strongly attracted to this photo spot. This is the place decorated with the most incense sticks that I have ever been to. I think the ticket price of 50,000 VND/person is completely reasonable for each tourist to freely pose in such a spacious and beautiful space."
According to Mr. Tai's estimate, after about 2 weeks of official opening, his photo spot receives an average of nearly 100 visitors per day. In addition to domestic visitors, the number of foreign visitors is also equally large. The young man is excited because the image of the "map" of incense sticks of Vietnam is being passed around by tourists and shared widely on social networks.
Talking about the plan for the coming time, Mr. Luong Anh Tai said that he will continue to complete the entrance gate and constantly change the layout to create attraction and novelty for tourists.
The check-in point opens from 7am every day of the week. According to some photographers, if you want to take beautiful photos with incense sticks, you should choose a sunny day.
Costumes should be chosen in contrasting colors to red such as white, yellow, blue... and prepare accessories such as hats, hand fans. If not available, visitors can rent them at nearby stores, with diverse designs, prices ranging from 100-200 thousand/set.
