The latest directive from the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding E10 bioethanol fuel.

VTV.vn - The Ministry of Industry and Trade has requested that primary petroleum traders and distributors direct and coordinate with their affiliated distribution systems, franchisees, and retail petroleum dealers to prepare the necessary infrastructure.

The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) has sent a document to key traders, key producers, and distributors of petroleum products regarding ensuring the supply of biofuels starting today (June 1st).

In accordance with Circular No. 50/2025/TT-BCT stipulating the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of biofuels with traditional fuels, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development requests that all units strictly implement the new roadmap.

Accordingly, from today (June 1st), unleaded gasoline must be blended into E10 gasoline for use in gasoline engines nationwide. At the same time, units will continue to blend E5SRON92 gasoline for use until December 31st, 2030.

Petroleum producers and distributors are responsible for ensuring an adequate supply of base gasoline and accelerating the blending and mixing of bioethanol (E5, E10).

The relevant units need to promptly supply the full amount of biofuel that has been negotiated and signed with petroleum wholesalers according to the agreed schedule.

The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development requires primary traders and distributors of petroleum products to proactively blend, mix, and purchase bio-gasoline from enterprises with bio-gasoline blending facilities or primary traders.

This is to ensure an adequate supply of biofuel to the entire distribution system.

In addition, relevant units need to direct and coordinate with their affiliated distribution systems, franchisees, and retail gasoline dealers to prepare the necessary infrastructure. Everything must be ready to distribute biofuel starting today (June 1st).

Petroleum producers, traders, and distributors are responsible for closely monitoring market consumption trends. During implementation, any difficulties or obstacles must be immediately reported to the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development for timely resolution. Units must absolutely ensure that the supply of biofuels is not interrupted under any circumstances.
