On April 24.4, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province said that the province had just issued a decision approving the plan to purchase tablets for students in the area, under the program "Waves and computers for children".
Accordingly, tablets will be provided to high school and junior high school students belonging to poor households and part of primary school students belonging to poor households, from a budget of about 8 billion VND provided by the Ministry of Education and Training and local funds mobilized from organizations and individuals.
Implementation period from April 4.2023, at educational institutions in Quang Ngai province. Procurement will be carried out in the form of open bidding according to the provisions of the Law on Bidding.

Quang Ngai Department of Education and Training is responsible for making complete dossiers and procurement procedures in accordance with regulations, economically and effectively; at the same time guide the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to implement the plan; directing affiliated educational institutions to select subjects; be responsible for the object, quantity and budget in the equipment allocation plan under the program "Waves and computers for children".
Previously, implementing the program "Waves and computers for children", by the end of 2022, Quang Ngai Department of Education and Training has purchased nearly 16.000 tablets, distributed to nearly 16.000 students across the province with an amount of nearly 39 billion.
It is known that the total cost to implement the program "Waves and computers for children" in Quang Ngai province is nearly 47 billion VND. In which, the Ministry of Education and Training supports 45 billion VND, more than 1,7 billion VND from calling and support from inside and outside the industry.
